Pimientos de Padron
We ar both hooked on these. So much so we have started to grow them at home on our kitchen window ledge (you cant seem to buy them in UK) You can buy them in any supermarket in Spain and they are lovely.
Pimento is Spanish for pepper and Pimentos de Padron are peppers from Padron, which is in the North of Spain. They are small green peppers that look a bit like chillies.
To cook the Pimentos de Padron we fry them in a small amount of oil under they start to crisp a little and then we add sea salt.
